We have recently completed a 4.6MW solar power plant on the Southern Pacific island of Western Samoa.

This project was designed and installed by the Harelec team, with some assistance from local subcontractors & village labour. The plant was built in two stages, and comprises of over 14,000 panels, 176 inverters, 2 substations & 4,000 ground screws. The site has it's own data network, with communications equipment which enables us to monitor and control the plant from our offices in Australia.

This plant operates under power purchase agreement with the Samoan Electric Power Corporation (EPC). Annual production is over 7,000,000kWh, which saves EPC over 1.7million litres of diesel each year.
